After signing for the team, Callum Best said “I’m excited to get started with the Hornets for the upcoming season, I know a lot of the players from previous seasons and I know we will be looking to have a successful year. I want to get scoring quickly and help the team start the season well, and I feel that I’ve got a good opportunity to do that this season with the team that’s been put together.

The team looks strong and I’m looking forward to contributing to what this team can achieve, I know I can bring a lot of offensive help and am determined to do that this season. See you in September!”

Head Coach Mark Saunders said “Callum is one of the premier British players at this level without a doubt and I’m over the moon that he’s committed to the Hornets for the coming season. His offensive abilities are well known and are proven on every team he’s played for and I know he is determined to have a standout year this season for us and show again why he’s one of the best players in the league.

The scoring upside that he brings to our team means we have a player who can put the puck in the net in big moments and also steady the team when needed, due to his vast experience at this level and previously the EPL. He will be a leader for us on and off the ice, shouldered with responsibility of big minutes in big situations and I know he’s raring to get started.

I’m delighted to announce Callum as our last singing and that our roster is now complete. I look forward to seeing you at the opening games against Streatham in a couple of weeks!”

We are also delighted to say that Callum’s jerseys are now available for £100 each or both for £150. To apply, please contact us via email at
