“After speaking with Mark and hearing his plans for the coming season, it was an easy decision to make. I’m really excited to be back in Bracknell playing for the Hornets. Bracknell has always meant a lot to me being my hometown rink and where I learnt to play hockey, so I’m honoured to be able to wear the jersey again. The team Mark has put together looks very strong with a good blend of youth, experience and skill. The new league looks very competitive this season and with the squad we have, we should be right in the mix for some silverware. I will be looking to add experience and leadership to the team whilst also adding some production from the blue line. I can’t wait to get on the ice with the boys now and see what we can achieve.”Head Coach Mark Saunders after signing Dom said..
“After speaking with Dom and discussing the Hornets’ plans for the upcoming season it was clear he fits well with our aspirations and would be another great addition to our defensive unit and to our team. It’s not often you get to bring in a player with such a glittered resume as Dom and there are so many reasons he makes our team instantly better; being named a league Allstar on numerous occasions, providing much needed offence from the blue line, as well as the leadership and guidance he will offer to our team as a whole are just a few. I know he’s excited to be coming back to Bracknell where it all began for him and I’m really hoping it combines with a successful season for us which I know Dom is fully ready to contribute to. I’m delighted he’s signed with us at the Hornets.”
